Amber Howard is the Head of Human Resources at Deque, where she leads people strategy with a focus on organizational growth, engagement, and inclusion. With over a decade of HR leadership experience—including roles as Head of HR and Senior HR Director—she has built scalable HR functions, led complex employee relations and compliance efforts, and driven key initiatives in policy, planning, and development. Known for her practical and people-first approach, Amber has guided organizations through complex HR challenges and implemented meaningful, lasting improvements across the employee experience. At Deque, she is passionate about fostering a transparent and values-driven culture—and is committed to making Deque not just a great place to work, but a meaningful place to grow. She holds a Master of Legal Studies from Texas A&M University and is certified as both a PHR and SHRM-SCP.
