Deque just hosted the hugely successful Web Accessibility Training Bootcamp January 15-16. The event was just the first of three Bootcamps in 2015, a two-day, fast-paced, hands-on workshop covering a wide range of topics—from disability types and assistive technologies to HTML accessibility techniques, ARIA, and JavaScript accessibility.

Attendees flocked from all over the United States, and even as far as Mexico City, to attend the workshop.

Intense Accessibility Training, Outstanding Benefits

The Bootcamp’s two days of intense training gave learners a firm foundation in techniques for development and quality assurance testing, including advanced topics. Participants also received access to the online self-paced web accessibility courses in Deque University so they could review the content in detail when they’re back at work.

Attendees had great things to say about Bootcamp:

“I really appreciated your approach to accessibility—not just the letter of the law but presenting what is best user experience—bravo! Well spoken and enthusiastic presenters.”

“The instructors moved forward at a very good pace. I really enjoyed the training.”

“Lots of real examples of key points.”

“The live website examples of inaccessible and accessible content were illustrated well.”
