Kate Owens has been an iOS Developer at Deque since 2019; she has been a mobile developer since she fell in love with iOS programming in 2015 and decided to pursue a new career in iOS development. Kate is passionate about women in STEM, and in 2019 she participated in an a panel in conjunction with Karlie Kloss’ Kode with Klossy organization, and taught a coding workshop for the Kode with Klossy students. She loves mobile accessibility and new technology, and eagerly awaits Apple’s WWDC every year like it’s a holiday week. When she’s not working Kate enjoys scary movies, tattooing, snuggling her dog Henri and cats Spike and Stella, and tending to her many house plants.
