John Lucas is the Web Design Team Lead for Learning A-Z, a provider of online literacy solutions and resources for teachers and students. John has spent more than 25 years in the software industry as a visual designer, illustrator, and animator. He has had collaborated on several successful, high-profile products for companies such as Hasbro, HarperCollins Publishing, the Walt Disney Company, and EA Sports. Most of his experience and passion have been in the development of children’s educational and entertainment products. John has an older sibling with special needs which gives him a personal, first-hand insight into the importance of Accessibility. John received his BFA from the University of Michigan and lives in Plymouth, Michigan with his wife and cat Domino.
