Designing consent: how accessible are cookie notices?

Cookie banners are everywhere on the web, but are they really accessible to everyone? And if not, what does that say about how consent policies are put in practice?

In this talk, we will explore how design choices for cookie notices impact how users of different abilities can understand and manage their privacy choices online. We’ll share insights from usability testing and present examples of good practices for designing accessible and user-friendly cookie notices that help users stay in control of their data.
