Navigating the world of digital accessibility often feels like a never-ending uphill battle, especially when large organizations provide inadequate resources for meaningful change. I’ll get real about my own experiences with burnout as a disabled person in this space and how I’ve managed to stay afloat amidst the chaos. From tackling impossible workloads to advocating for systemic change, this session dives into the problem, proposes solutions, and highlights practical strategies to cope without losing your mind. Vulnerability and raw honesty are on the table as we explore what it means to survive—and thrive—in the face of burnout.
