Charles (Chas) Steinmetz is SVP of Digital Accessibility within PNC’s Technology and Innovation group. In this role, Chas is focused in making PNC the most accessible bank for our clients and workforce by providing the best software, hardware and services possible. His goal is to ensure all our people have equal opportunity to succeed. Chas joined PNC in March 2020.

Prior to joining PNC, Chas lead BNY Mellon’s mobile technology strategy, platforms and app development. While in this role, he was able to create and mature mobile technology into a robust global enterprise technology service. Chas implemented the organization’s BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program across the 22 countries it does business saving the organization over $7MM annually while providing a significantly improved user experience. Additionally, he established mobile development as an enterprise capability and leveraged agile development practices to deliver over 20 apps to the organization. During his time at BNY Mellon, Chas established himself as an expert across the financial services industry.

Chas earned his Bachelor of Science degrees for Business Management and Marketing from The Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business.
