Position Description
1-Year Contract
Deque is seeking a highly capable Senior Salesforce Developer to join our growing Internal Systems team. This position will work closely with the Internal Systems Architect and other Senior Salesforce Developers to enhance and maintain Deque’s Salesforce org. You will partner with stakeholders, execute on requirements, and collaborate with the Internal Systems team to help Deque achieve its goals through crafting scalable solutions. To be successful in this role you need to have exceptional problem solving skills, be proficient in both Salesforce declarative and programmatic development, communicate effectively with all levels, and be a lifelong learner.

- Work with the Internal Systems team and business partners to understand requirements and design scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
- Develop custom applications on the Salesforce platform while following established design patterns and other best practices using Apex, SOQL, and LWCs.
- Integrate Salesforce with other business systems using standard Salesforce APIs and custom Apex web services.
- Look for opportunities to gain efficiencies via process automations.
- Assist in maintaining Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Conga Composer, as well as other managed packages and integrations.
- Triage support request and escalate when necessary.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II and Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce best practices and standard functionality.
- Proficiency creating robust automations using Flow builder.
- Proficiency coding solutions with Apex triggers, classes, test classes, and Lightning Web Components.
- 3+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with other business systems via REST API.
- 2+ years of experience implementing Salesforce document generation apps like Conga Composer, Nintex DocGen, and/or DocuSign Gen.
- 2+ years of experience building and maintaining solutions using Salesforce CPQ.
- 2+ years of experience deploying metadata with DevOps tools such as Gearset or Copado.
- 2+ years of experience extracting, transforming, and loading data.
- Strong object oriented development skills
- Understanding of agile methodologies and principles.
- Work timings 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
Additional Skills Desired
- Holding additional Salesforce certifications.
- Knowing other programming languages.
- Having built a personal website or portfolio.
- Working on a Salesforce instance for a SaaS company.
- Being active in the Salesforce community.
